Women’s Worlds

Jester Creative led the social media effort at Women’s Worlds 2011, an international women’s congress that saw nearly 2000 delegates from 92 countries converge on Ottawa for 4 days to discuss and educate on global women’s issues.

We worked with approximately 25 volunteers as well as our professional content gathering team to gather videos, photos, podcasts and blog posts, and managed the social media engagement across platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Flickr. The result was an extremely successful campaign with a very high level of engagement and interaction by both delegates and outside visitors.

The second part of this project was to create a  multimedia record of the event. We combined audio, video, photos and social media posts captured during Women’s Worlds to create the record, which was sent on DVD to 2,000 delegates around the world.
